FistInTheAir.com has released a stream of the new Daft Punk Random Access Memories album. While we are guessing this not necessarily authorized by Daft Punk’s management, might as well forward the album stream on while it lasts! As possibly the most anticipated album release thus far in the twenty-teens, Random Access Memories will surely be one of the defining albums of 2013. The millions of Daft Punk fans out there are likely dusting off their savings accounts for tickets to the pending international tour that is expected to follow the Random Access Memories album release. This content is hosted through FistInTheAir.com, and we therefore cannot guarantee it’s longevity, however if the player is still working, enjoy the Daft Punk – Random Access Memories Album Stream!

12th Planet & Mayhem, “Whoops” featuring Pennybirdrabbit, dropped May 7th, 2013. This track off SMOG records proves yet again 12th planet’s and Mayhems’ dominance of the Bass world. With the compliment of Pennybirdrabbit’s breath taking vocals this song will take you on an amazing ride. The song starts with “He ripped my heart out…I have nothing else to give” then drops into a mind tingling bass line “to give…to give…to give..“ Yes you do have more to give and this song give you some of it, “Whoops.” Click play and enjoy, 12th Planet & Mayhem “Whoops” ft. This track is sure to make you check your pants. Indiana’s own, Figure, steps out of his usual “Dubstep” sounding veil and creates quite a stomach turning trap track entitled “The Brown Note.” The “brown note” is said to be the note in music that, when played, causes people to literally sh*t themselves. (gross I know) BUT, Figure appropriately named this track as it certainly will have you bracing yourself (If you are listening to it on a good system… which i expect most of you music lovers to be doing anyways!) Enjoy the new sound from Figure! You can download the track on www.Beatport.com
Just announced on the Hard Summer Line up, Empire Of The Sun is starting their summer off with a bang!. The Australia Duo started in 2008 with one of my favorite all time albums “Walking on a Dream.” I have seen them many times and they always put on an amazing show: make sure not to miss them this summer on their nationwide tour! Their new video for “Alive” was just announced that it will drop in 3 days! (I’ll throw the video up as soon as it drops) If your not familiar with the duo: I guarantee their unique electro indie funk will have you hooked within minutes. With a strong energetic start and addicting melody on the vocals, one cant help but feel “Alive”. You truly will be “loven every minute.”

The Hood Internet comes out with another mash-up that has lit the internet (their hood) on fire with buzz about the R. Kelly vs. Phoenix mashup they just released. It comes only a few days after R. Kelly and Phoenix performed live together at week 1 of Coachella Music festival in Indio, California. I was fortunate enough to watch the pairing live (with a front row view i might add) and it sounded beautiful together. Props to The Hood Internet for putting the mashup together for all of those who weren’t at the festival to enjoy. They are both on the line-up for Bonnaroo coming June 13-16 in Manchester, TN. Will they preform the mashup live again? Who knows. We do know that this mashup will forever live thanks to The Hood Internet’s fine diligence in recreating the masterpiece.

Kaskade vs. Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes – Surrender Apogee| Kaskade, better known as Ryan Raddon, has so much more love to give. Kaskade’s music was always a non-stop hit, and judging from their latest track, they plan to keep it that way. Kaskade created a mash up of his very own track “Apogee” with Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky’s track “Surrender”. The track starts off with a mellow beat and than merges into a great one. After this track, many of you guys should stay tuned into Kaskades next Mash Up Monday! Also, remember this track is free to download just select download in the SoundCloud window below!
Dog Blood – Next Order | As featured in their promo, Dog Blood – Next Order showcases the fusion of talent between Sonny Moore of OWSLA and Alex Ridha of Boys Noize Records. One would expect any Skrillex-related project to feature the tired ‘wah wah’ Scary Monsters sound, but not here. The infected vocal loop is eerily enchanting and when combined with the seamless transitions and a funky little breakdown at about two minutes, it is apparent that the ‘Next Order’ has arrived. The overwhelming popularity of both Moore and Ridha alone begs the question, “Is this just a side project? Or is this Skrill-Noize combo here to stay?”
Dirty Politics & Bionic Funk – After The Fall | Almost cinematic in scope, Dirty Politics & Bionic Funk’s After the Fall creates an atmosphere of suspense and climax. The extended intro slowly bleeds into a lengthy violin crescendo. Which slams into a devastating electro hook. A bit of patience is necessary to enjoy this one, but it is totally worth it. Though this appears to be Bionic Funk’s first collaboration, I hope it isn’t his last.

NiT GriT – Give Up | “This track represents letting go of the past and embracing whats to come in the future.” Words from NiT GriT, aka Danny Beall, himself describing what the track means to him. NiT GriT – Give Up is currently a work in progress, but this preview is absolutely dazzling. Give Up starts off with a celestial melody accompanied by a psychedelic ambiance, that eventually crashes into a cascading mechanical chorus. The excellent use of string instruments break up the drops and gives the track more depth. It also ‘threads’ the heavy and melodic elements together beautifully. Though the track isn’t complete, it’s still amazing. Perhaps it will make you feel like letting go of the past as well.

Zeds Dead & Omar LinX – The Living Dead | Here comes Zeds Dead & Omar LinX teaming up once again for The Living Dead EP. In similar fashion to their previous collaborations, Omar LinX lays down silky rap vocals accompanied by the Canadian duo’s demonic basslines. Though traditionally Zeds Dead tracks retain mainly a dubstep influence, The Living Dead takes more of an electro direction with a dubstep breakdown about halfway through. Three other tracks are also on the EP: Crank, Take A Chance, and Cowboy. In much the same form as The Living Dead.
