Metric – Speed The Collapse | Say what you will aboot the Canadians, but leave Metric out of it! They can’t help it if they were born in Canada, but at least they are trying to win us over by continuing to make new and inventively good music. Speed The Collapse was leaked the other day as the new title track from their upcoming LP “Synthetica” (out June 12th). The beginning of this song sounds like they are going to get all Arcade Fire on us and “Keep the car running”, but soon after we start to hear that classic Metric sound, you know the one. Emily Haine’s vocals  really make the song, especially in the break-down/chorus . The track ends with the widely popularized phrase “feet don’t fail me now, perhaps the speed of this collapse was a bit too fast for Metric? It took me a couple listens to vibe out on this song, but you know I can see into the future sometimes, and with that being said, I can assure you that Speed The Collapse will soon be invading your eardrums on the radio and beyond. | Metric – Speed The Collapse
